Hello! I’m Mihir Kamat, and this is my portal to the outside world. I am the author of At First Sight, an obscure book that saw very little light of day. I like to think of myself as an author, poet, part time cook and proud SMA dad. I love good food, great company and a decent page turner. A day with all three is probably rare but very well received.
I wrote a few words some years back that are important for me even today. I leave you with these words that still give me hope to write.
The life I knew I could never live
Is somewhere out there in the wait
Asking for another chance
Time to go, walk through the gate
Inaction is quite obscene
Hoping fate would intervene
Watching chances pass me by
Then wish if I could only fly
The life I knew I could never live
Is somewhere out there in the wait
Asking for another chance
Time to go, walk through the gate
Winners win and losers lose
But winners fight and winners bruise
Without greying hair and broken bones
None could win the game of thrones
The life I knew I could never live
Is somewhere out there in the wait
Asking for another chance
Time to go, now! March through the gate!
